Colleagues,
A quick look at the international labour news headlines as usual shows the typical mix of good and bad news for workers and their unions across the globe.
I look forward to working you again, or for the first time, in 2008. I hope that we can add to the on-going struggle to rebuild and rejuvenate the British trade union movement and support our sisters and brothers (like those pictured here from the COB in Bolivia) in their struggles overseas and find ways to build solidarity between us.
